A Journey Through the Milestones That Have Marked Our History

Illustrious Past, Brilliant Future

Welcome to Camp David Ranch

Our History

In 1989, visionary José Manuel Bermúdez Muñoz opened Camp David Ranch as a clubhouse for homeowners of the properties that were to be built on the developing land at the time.

However, the support of the Santiago community encouraged him to transform it into a public restaurant, making it a must-visit spot for anyone coming to the city of Santiago.

Camp David was founded on top of a mountain that was, at that time, over an hour away from Santiago’s city center. However, due to the development of road infrastructure and the city’s growth, Camp David now stands as an attractive and innovative option for dining and lodging. Located just a few minutes from the city, it provides a completely different experience from what can be found in the urban center.

During the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Camp David project, the book "Diverse Thoughts of a Restless Mind" was released. This work features a selection of articles written by José Manuel Bermúdez, published in the newspaper "La Información" between 1997 and 2002.
